Roy Clint Laird

Dr. Clint Laird is a board-certified podiatrist specializing in foot surgery and sports medicine, proudly serving patients along Florida’s West Coast. With nearly 30 years of experience in the field, Dr. Laird brings a unique, athlete-focused approach to care, treating every patient as though they were family, whether they’re weekend warriors or seasoned competitors. He is also a certified bike fitter and actively conducts research on cycling biomechanics.


 Originally from East Texas, Dr. Laird earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, graduating cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1993. He earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in 1997, followed by a comprehensive three-year residency at Westchester General Hospital in Miami and a prestigious fellowship in Pediatrics and Sports Medicine at Cedars Medical Center.


A lifelong cyclist, Dr. Laird was drawn to podiatry through his passion for sports medicine and the critical role the foot and ankle play in athletic performance. He currently serves as President of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM) and has been on the board for nearly a decade. He is also a proud member of the APMA, FPMA, ACFAS, and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Laird frequently lectures on sports medicine at conferences across the country, sharing his expertise with fellow clinicians.


Outside of the office, Dr. Laird enjoys cycling and spending time with his children. He has called Florida home for more than 30 years.
